Office Chess Set
Create a themed chess set based on the popular TV show 'The Office', where characters represent different chess pieces. Each set could include a golden ticket reward for a chance to win memorabilia from the show.
Problem Solved
It combines the love for chess and 'The Office', appealing to fans who seek unique collectibles and gaming experiences.
Skills Required
Skills in product design, e-commerce, marketing, and community engagement would be essential to launch and sustain this business.
Why this works now
The rise of niche merchandise platforms like Etsy allows for targeted sales of themed products, making an Office-themed chess set feasible. A concrete first-revenue move could involve promoting the set on the subreddit r/DunderMifflin, where fans actively discuss and share memorabilia. However, the upfront capital required for production and marketing can be significant, posing a risk if initial sales do not meet expectations.
